Tiger Woods car accident today has a lot of loose ends that don’t make sense. Tiger Woods car accident happened today. At first, reports indicated that Woods was “seriously” injured. As more facts came in from Florida officials, it turned out that the “serious” injuries were lacerations to the face. What was puzzling about that was the fact that reports also indicated that Tiger Woods’ airbags didn’t deploy, which means that his Cadillac Escalade was going under 33 mph. Added to the fact that later on in the day more reports surfaced stating that Tiger Woods’ wife Elin “rescued” her husband by smashing in a window with a golf club and getting him out of the car – you have one crazy mixed up story that just doesn’t make sense – and that’s before you take into consideration that Florida officials have reported that there are “possible charges” pending as a result of the Tiger Woods car accident today, and that alcohol was not a factor in the accident.

Recently, gossip sites have reported that Tiger Woods may have been having an affair with Rachel Uchitel. Uchitel is a Current York socialite who has made similar affair claims in the past. Tiger Woods’ attorneys deny that their client is alive to with Uchitel, although they do confirm that Woods met her at a club.

TMZ reports that Tiger Woods and his wife Elin were fighting at the time of the Tiger Woods car accident today. Elin told police that the two were fighting at the time of the demolish, and Tiger told the same story when asked by authorities at the hospital.

TMZ also reports that the Tiger Wood car accident went down like this:

Elin gets mad at Tiger, grows irate and scratches his face up. What ticked her off? Allegations of seeing another woman.

Tiger grabs his keys and makes a hasty crash for his car. Elin follows behind with a golf club.

Elin hits the Cadillac Escalade with the golf club. Tiger Woods gets distracted and turns around to glimpse what happened, and hit a fire hydrant.

Tiger was also taking a prescription medication for an injury at the time of the accident.

What could the charges from the Tiger Woods car accident today be? Could they be domestic abuse charges against Elin or Tiger? Could they be charges due to Tiger driving while taking a prescription medication? Is there even more to the story that we don’t know? One thing I do know is that the Tiger Woods car accident today will be the center of speculation until we gain to the bottom of this.

Tiger Woods flies in to Melbourne, Australia today

International golfing sensation Tiger Woods arrives in Melbourne, Australia today ahead of the $1.5 million Australian Masters Tournament (part of the 2009 Australasian PGA Tour) starting at Kingston Heath on Thursday, 12 November. Woods will, no doubt, be aiming to do better than he did in the HSBC Champions tournament yesterday at the Sheshan course in Shanghai. He was well behind winner Phil Mikelson who beat South African Ernie Els by 1 stroke.

Last night on Australia’s 60 Minutes current affairs program, interviewer Tara Brown conducted an intimate interview with Tiger, who, at 33 is the world’s wealthiest sports star. Considering Tiger Woods gives very few interviews, the chat came across as very sincere as he recounted things about his early childhood and his adult life as a husband and father.

Woods has won 92 professional golf tournaments including 14 majors. Only golfing memoir Jack Nicklaus has won more with 18 majors to his credit.

Tiger indicated he is not motivated money, but that winning is what he craves. He also said winning has never been easy. He turned professional in 1996 obsolete 20 and went into his professional golfing career with US$60 million in sponsorship lined up before he hit one ball. He referred to himself as an “accidental celebrity” and that he makes no apologies for not being gregarious. He further stated his father, Earl Woods, was his mentor and role model.

One of Tiger’s golfing advantages is his ability to sink the longest and most important putts in a tournament. But on a bad day, he has been beaten by Australian Peter O’Malley.

Kingston Heath Course re-vamp

Kingston Heath Golf Course, often rated in the top 30 courses in the world, has undergone substantial improvements including a new clubhouse. The course is now 100 metres (109.361 yards) longer with re-organization of hole sequence. Read all the details of variations here.

Concerns about tournament logistics, cameras and phones

The last time Tiger Woods played in Australia was in 1998 in the President’s Cup at Kingston Heath and he’s come a long way since then. Marcus Gale, IMG’s tournament director has expressed anxiety about crowd behavior and security. Cameras and mobile telephones will be banned from the course, but Gale indicated that policing of such rules, which apply at many tournaments around the world, will be difficult.

Crowd behavior, primarily the sound of clicking cameras, at the $US7 million ($A7.68 million) HSBC Champions tournament yesterday at the Sheshan course in Shanghai caused Tiger Woods to flinch on his opening tee shot in the first round. It took organizers almost half the round to get the spectators under full control.

Australian Masters organizers hope that there won’t be a repeat of this type of distraction, but are confident that Australian golf spectators are well educated about course behavior.

There is no doubt that Tiger Woods will be warmly welcomed in Australia. The 2009 Australian Masters will benefit greatly from his presence and fans will be able to watch Tiger in action 12-15 November 2009 at Kingston Heath. The tournament is tipped to be a sellout.

If Tiger Woods Can’t Play Golf

If Tiger Woods can’t play golf and hurt,
who will the teens admire?
Mutant turtles or English wizards
and how will that get them off the couch?

If Tiger Woods can’t play golf freely,
we’ll all need to learn another name,
like Phil Micklesen or Kenny Perry,
and the ad campaigns will all have to change.

No more Nike golf balls perched on hole’s edge,
No more chips out of sand into cups,
No more casual chips onto greens,
with Tiger Wood’s easy grip on the club.

And who will stand up straight and tall,
pointing down the endless lawn,
and inspire us to seize time off work,
And play strategically instead of as a pawn?

Let’s hope that injured at thirty-three,
isn’t one more case of terrible trouble
in these times when a hero can help
to remind what really matters to us and he–

the willingness to try and work hard
